- The Shed -

This is a perfect example of sustainable living in this environmentally friendly, energy efficient retreat.

The Shed was where we lived while we were building our main earth sheltered buildings.

For the past 10 years we used it as a long term rental property.

It is secluded and has huge views north over the Great Dividing Range.

It has two bedrooms, bathroom and full kitchen. It is fully insulated and has reverse cycle air conditioning.

The Shed is also where our solar panels and two inverters are located, minimising all of our electricity costs.

The property is connected to the town water supply and we use The Shed to also harvest rainwater.

The town water supply is also connected to the main buildings, the vegetable garden and orchards and the stock troughs in all paddocks.
